What we collect and why
When you enquire or become a customer, we may collect your name, contact details, postcode, property type and size, requested service and timing, priorities you share, correspondence, photographs you choose to email after we request them, and payment or transaction records. We use this information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange and deliver services, keep appropriate business records, resolve concerns and meet legal obligations. Please do not send key-safe or alarm codes through the website form.
Our lawful bases
We use information where necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for legitimate interests such as managing enquiries, improving service and protecting the business. We do not sell personal information or use enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Sharing and retention
Website quote enquiries are sent through FormSubmit so they can be delivered to our business inbox. FormSubmit says it retains submissions for up to 30 days; its own privacy terms apply to its handling of the form data. Email, website, payment and accounting providers may also process information as needed to run the business. Unsuccessful enquiry records are normally removed within 12 months. Customer and transaction records may be kept for up to six years where needed for tax, insurance or legal purposes. Photographs are kept only while they remain necessary.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to our use of your information. Contact us first so we can help. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Website information
The website does not use advertising cookies. When you submit a quote enquiry, the form sends the information you entered to FormSubmit for delivery to our inbox. Basic technical logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security and reliable operation.
